Studio Flamenco will present an excerpt from their new work ‘Bluebeard’s Daughter’ at ADT’s ‘Rough Draft’.

Rough Draft is a space for free thinking and feeling. These innovative artists invite you to share in their process and witness the growth of their work and ideas as they are evolving.

The program features works by Yasmine Amber, Felicity Boyd and the Motus Collective, Tobiah Booth Remmers (performed by the ADT Youth Ensemble), Tiarna Linke as well as a film by Chris Dyke and discussions by Françoise Piron & Zoë Dunwoodie and Sue Hawksley. The evening will also include an excerpt of ADT’s latest work-in-development, Supernature.

Artist in Residence- Jazmín Centeno

We are pleased to announce that Jazmín Centeno will be returning to Adelaide from May 13-16 as ‘Artist in Residence’ at Studio Flamenco.

In addition to working with the Studio Flamenco Company across the week to create a new work, Jazmín will offer an open workshop for all students from Beginner 2- Intermediate level, including Advanced level children.

About Jazmín:

Jazmín Centeno is a professional flamenco dancer who moved to Seville, Spain in 2012 in order to pursue flamenco fulltime. She has studied with many of the world’s most internationally renowned artists including Farruquito, Antonio Canales, Eva Yerbabuena, Pastora Galván, Joaquín Grilo, Úrsula López, Andrés Marín, and Rafael Campallo.  Jazmín has been invited to collaborate with prestigious artists on their shows as soloist, choreographer and choreographic adviser.  Jazmín performs regularly in many 'tablaos' (traditional flamenco venues) in Seville and is an artist dedicated to developing her own unique creative style. She currently resides in Cadiz.
